1.Introduction

    For those PC controller machine or MCU which use DOS system and compatible with 8086,reads/writes USB Flash Drive or mobile disk via CH375, use DOS device drive program of CH375 to simulate USB Flash Drive as hard disk,and it will add a logic disk in the DOS(usually is D-disk), the using method is similar with common hard disk,electronic disk and RAM.This method supports inserting and pluging USB Flash Drive with power,exchanging data is more easily.

    Hardware requirement:CPU is compatible with 8086,the connection is one of following between CH375 and CPU
the paraller interface can be made as USB Flash Drive card,such as:PCI cardISA cardPC104 interface board etc.
    Advantage:speed is high(about 200K to 400K byte per second),high effective,with 5V power,supports USB Flash Drive plug-and-play.Supports USB Flash Drive attachment and removal with power.
    Disadvantage:connection wire is more, the installation is complex than serial interface board.
serial interface can be made as USB Flash Drive interface board, such as: RS232 serial port board, TTL serial port board.
    Advantage:the hardware connection is simple,supports USB Flash Drive attachment and removal with power,support all the serial interface board hardware attachment and removal with power.
    Disadvantage:speed is low(about 9K to 10K bytes ber second), outside provides 5V power(power doesn't contain in serial interface connection).

5.Supports all the file system in OS.For example,DOS 7.X can supports FAT12/FAT16/FAT32.
6.Only need one drive file CH375DOS.SYS,the length is less than 5K,after load only need 4K RAM.
7.The drive only work when application read/write USB Flash Drive.It has no influence on DOS system and industrial machine when drive is idle.
8.Support USB Flash Drive attachment and removal with power,using is easy.Insert the USB Flash Drive when needing.
9.The serial port connection supports attachment and removal with power.Connect the serial port and USB Flash Drive when needing.
10.In parallel mode,if add expansion ROM,it will support induct OS from USB Flash Drive, (The compatibility is less than DOS drive)
11.The cost is low,the price is only several decades RMB for batch product.
12.If don't use DOS OS,consult the USB Flash Drive file layer subprogram of CH375 to call API.
13.Only need one address chip select coding and CH375,the file length of drive is less than 3K.
